MODULAR FLOATING DOCK SYSTEM for aquatic sports, aqua culture and environmental protection

together with cutting edge technology and the most advanced production techniques are the
base for the new extremely versatile PONTOON BUILDING BLOCK SYSTEM.
By utilising the friction co-efficient achieved by independent controlled flooding of modules we have refined this system to provide not only the most stable floating platform available, but also a high load capacity which can also be combined with a fender-sidebar system.
The single modules are easy to handle (weight: 6,2 kg) and guarantee a very high load capacity of 360 kg/m2 (815 lbs/10,8 sq ft). They are made of a high-quality synthetic, UV-stabilized and anti-static green material (Novolen) which is extremely resistant to the elements! With block measurements of 50 x 50 x 50 cm (1,65 x 1,65 x 1,65 ft), the standard freeboard is approximately 40 cm. Blocks are easily assembled by connecting 4 elements (= 1 m2) via connecting lugs, with one bolt which gives a secure, stable connection.
This building block system can be varied according to any desired layout or measurements and can be used to replace or extend existing pontoon systems. This seawater and acid resistant system requires no maintenance or cleaning and is extremely durable. It can be utilised throughout the year or the single modules can be stacked and stored. Unlike conventional wooden floats, the pontoon is made of a skid-proof material, and will not rot, it is also safer as it won't splinter, or have sharp edges, rusty nails etc.
The "Maritime-Technic- Pontoon System" contributes to water purity, is aesthetically pleasing and comes equipped for various anchoring configurations. Swimming ladder, railing post and boat fastening-eye are main accessories with options such as fender systems, UV- resistant ropes and for marinas, electricity distributors (w/wo illumination) are available.
ALUMINIUM BOATS for fisheries and watersports
This boats are made of seawater resistant aluminium,
welded with modern technologies and need no antifouling. The integrated floats secure this
boats are unsinkable.
As accessoire the following is available: Stand with steering, Build-in-tank,
Electro-outfitings, Swimming ladder, Reeling and Persenning etc.
The smaller recreational boats TypA are made as multi part and can be divided for
transport (to 125x135x55 cm) or also extended on demand by additional boddy modules.
The larger working boats TypC are made in doubble wall and are verivied by Lloyd's
Register in Hamburg and have the EU-conformity certificate (CE-Modul-C).

INFLATABLE BOATS for fishery and recreation

This well designed and large dimensioned inflatable boats are build from a very strong (blue-grey) plastic material, according to requirements of todys customer preferences and use. The good quality workmanship and materials guarantee security and longlifety, also in seawater. The large diameter of the hose, the reinforced heck plates and the keel forms, allow the boats even with minimal motorisation and low speed, good gliding, high floating capacity and enormous stability. Security and safety is provided by the bars with broad profil on the sides and keel, by the valves situated inside, as well as by the security and holding ropes on top. The strudy handles situated outside and the self lenting valve inside rallow easy handling and working.
The models S of the "Sport Seria"
(excl. 200 S) are fitted with a wooden floor with aluminium frame (aluminium floor on
request), and strong switchable rowing supports with stackable paddles from aluminium. A
wooden bank with fixing possibilities, holders for the persenning, bag and reperature sets
are standard outfitts.
The models P of the "Professional Seria" are fitted with a fixed bottom hull
made from glassfibre reinforced polyester with deep V-formed keel, an integrated driver
stand with reeling and window, as well as single seat in the middle and doubble bank in
the back. A selflenting anchor box and closable storing boxes are standard outfitts.

ELECTRO MOTORS for boats and pontoons
For boats, an electro motor is practicable for up to 9 m total
hull lengths. Electric motors have, compared with petrol motors, different turning
moments, which allow to use electric motors with relative low powers. Longtime experiments
have proven, that the required power relation (electro to petrol motor) can be 1:2.0 to
2.5, if the pertol motor was not over motorisized for the boat and the use.
All models have a compensated row motor, which coiling compensation optimizes the energy
usage and increase theoutput of the motor, specially at higher turns. The casings as well
as all supports are made from marine aluminium (GalSi5Mg to DIN 1725, pp. 2), which is
corrosions and seawater proof. All other materials incl. all screws are made from
stainless steel. The ball bearings are made for long operation and live and the seals of
the bearing are made form seal rings. All parts are covered by plastic or special
paintings for additional protection. Motor and motor casings are also painted with
antifouling. All parts are built with high precision and each motor will be tested to
electric performance.
The outboard-shaft models have a weight of
19-21 kg and are delivered with integrated cable, switch and fuse. They are ready to use
and just have to be mounted on the heck and connected with the cables to the battery.
Available in 3 power sizes (500, 800 or 1.400 Watt) with 4 steps (2 front and 2 back) and
with different staft lengths for various boat types.
The inboard-flange models have a weight of 15-35 kg and are delivered with complete
cables, switch and fuse. They must be installed on the boat and are fitted with a pinn,
where lenking ropes can be fixed. Available in 4 power sizes (800, 1.400, 2.000 or 3.000
Watt) with 4-6 steps (font and back).
A foldable propeller, which brings the wings into a
position so that they doe not turn if the motor is not used, is available as accessoire.
Additionally, special batteries for long time use with high cycle stability, battery
loaders, and (from 36 V on) a stepless motor regulation is available.
SUBMERSIBLE WAVE PROOF OFFSHORE NET CAGES for fish farming
This cages are developed for industrial farming of various fish
species (i.e.: Sea bass, Sea bream, Grouper, Salmon, Trout, Sturgeon) all the year round
at exposed open water areas such as seas and oceans. To prevent damage from storm impact
and to provide optimum conditions for fish farming, the cage can be submerged.
Completed with a painted or galvanized framework with a net chamber enclosed and a feed
bunker on it allowing automatic feed supply and farming process supervision. To place the
cage vertically, it is equipped with a special system providing its surfacing, submerging
and positioning at a depth of 4-40 meter. Horizontal positioning of the cage is provided
by the system of anchorage including anchor ties and anchors. Lightness and tracery of the
cage are in full accordance with the sea landscape.
The cage structure is produced to the "Rules for Building and Classing Underwater
Vehicles, Systems, and Hyperbaric Facilities" and passes control assembling and
testing at the manufacturing plant. It will have the certificate of the official
"Maritime Register of Shipping".
The steel work is marked and packed as packages or in boxes which can be transported in a
standard 40-feet container.
The basic material of the (polygon) framework consists of rod welded tubular low carbon
(grade A) steel elements, connected with each other by flange bolts. The three-dimensional
framework forming a regular nonahedron in plan, with three slanting trusses, running from
the vertical columns to the geometric centre, closing at the feeder casing. The upper
contour is completed with service platforms, passage walkways (500 mm wide) with railings
(1.000 mm high) and removable hand ropes, also to the feed bunker. The walkways and
brackets are made of pipes with 120 mm in diameter. The vertical columns (720 mm in
diameter, 2.250 mm long) house permanently buoyancy compartments, balancing tanks, and
compensation tanks of residual buoyancy resulting from discharge of changing loads. Also
sensors that measure depth of submergence, water temperature and underwater acoustic are
housed there. The 5.980 mm long horizontal members of the bottom contour are made of pipes
with 478 mm in diameter and house the main ballast tanks and compressed air cylinders, 6
of which are ballast compartments and 3 are compressed air cylinders. Three mooring walls
with wooden guard rails are provided for service boat mooring. To provide for safety of
work of the attending personnel, the cage is equipped with removable single row
life-lines. The shape of the whole structure and all separate sections are adjusted so
that the cage experiences minimum rolls and trims at waves and current. The experience of
the underwater system operation has proved that the operation in the water column is the
most effective structural measure to protects structures from corrosion. Hot galvanized
coating provides the structure service life of more than 20 years. This coating is
reliable, practically excluding restoration and repair.
The system of automatic underwater feed distribution is intended for storage and measured
distribution of feed for an autonomous operation of 7-30 days and located at the geometric
centre of the cage. The system consists of a water tight bunker of 3.000 litre (2 tons
feed in average) of cylinder conical shape (1.412 mm in diameter and 2.890 mm in height)
and an automatically feed distributor (with a microprocessor) with a volumetric type
dosage of 5 litre each. Compressed air is supplied to the pneumatic device by pipelines
from compressed air cylinders, which are replenished from a service boat, equipped with a
compressor. To prevent water penetration into the feeder, its upper part is equipped with
a water tight hatch with a rack-and-pinion lock. Inside the feeder the upper part houses
solenoid valves, system controller and (24 Volt, 125 Ah) batteries. The system is made of
corrosion proof steel (6-8 mm thickness) and non-ferrous metals.
To submerge and surface the cage it is equipped with ballast compartments. The main
ballast tanks are filled by gravity via drain holes equipped with ventilating valves with
a remote control pneumatic drive. The balancing tanks are filled via kingston valve. The
water from ballast compartments is replaced by compressed air (5-10 kg/cm3), supplied from
the service boat compressor (min. 150 l/min). Air to the actuators is supplied through the
pipelines made of corrosion proof steel and rubberized hoses. The process of submerging
and surfacing is supervised by the depth sensor, its display being located at the service
boat or via water acoustic communication channel from the shore.
The signal buoy consists of cylinders of variable sections, providing a platform for
deployment and protection of the control and monitoring complex of the cage. The size and
weight characteristics are adjusted to provide survivability in the regime of extreme
weather conditions. It can operate afloat at wave (force 8-9) and respective wind speed.
It also can freeze in ice (up to 50 cm) to stay for winter. Flexible pipelines and
electric cables coming from the signal buoy to the cage and supplying compresses air and
providing power supply. Additionally the buoy includes the antenna for an underwater
acoustic control and monitoring system with an operation range of 10 km. Safety is
provided by flashing beacons and corner reflectors, also from the feed bunker.
To install the cage at the water area (in a depth of up to 50 m), it is equipped with a
special system of anchorage, consisting of anchor ties (i.e. a chain with a variable
running mass) and 3 anchors (weighing 3-10 t), providing reliable functioning of the
system under weather conditions given. The anchors are not included in the delivery, but
are made on site (by the customer according to the drawings given). The anchorage system
is designed for each particular site depending on hydro-meteorological conditions and
depth of an installation site.
The net chamber with a volume of 1.000 to 2.000 m3 is preferably built from our polymer
covered polyester net (mesh size 20, 25 or 40 mm) but could be changed to a kapron or
nylon net too. The net chamber is placed within the steel structure at special guy ropes,
running up and down from the platform. The guy ropes are fastened to the feed bunker and
the net chamber. To provide for harvesting of fish, the net chamber is equipped with a
device, consisting of a rope system and portable hand operated winch, raising the bottom
edge to the surface. To remove wastes from the net chamber it is equipped with a special
tray device which is lifted to the surface by the help of winches.
It is possible to position the cage system in a depth range in the water column of 4-40
meter. Afloated the system withstands waves (with personnel to force 3) without personnel
to force 6 and waves up to 6 meter. Submerged it is resistant to force 9 and respective
wind speeds and waves up to 8-9 meter. The axial diameter is 20,12 meter and the light
displacement is 16,2 tons. Total height (including 2.000 m3 net chamber) is 12,1 meter,
the minimum draught (at launching) is 0,8 meter and the maximum draught (including 2.000
m3 net chamber) is 8,6 meter.
We also produce traditional square cage systems of any size, based on our pontoon system.
SUBMERGED ILLUMINATED NET CAGES for the fingerling production with natural zooplankton
20 years' experience in the field of global plankton research and fingerling production with natural plankton and years of tests under different environmental conditions in marine and fresh water, are the basis of the new "UWG- Solar cage system". The production method is based on plankton feeding in the natural environment like: lagoons, bays, fjords, lakes and large ponds, by means of attracting the organisms using a lamp located in the centre of fine meshed submerged nets. Mainly Copepods and Cladoceres - but also a variety of other zoo plankton are photo sensitive and steadily swarm into the cages towards the light source.
The net
cages 2x2x2 m (8 m3) are manufactured from highly resistant mono filament polyester fabric
(with mesh sizes 0,3 to 1,8 mm), is fitted with a zipper for easy access and a conduit for
the electric cable. The net cage is stretched onto a strong stainless steel or aluminium
frame. An efficient solar generator is supplied for remote site operation. An electrical
transformer can be supplied in order to reduce voltage to safer levels for use with water.
Depending on the zoo plankton populations, the fish stocking density (from the fry stage
to fingerling size of 5 cm length) can come to 5.000 Ind./m3 and survival rates of more
than 90 % have been achieved with various marine and freshwater fish species.
Operation and maintenance is limited to: the functional control of the system, a periodic cleaning with a portable high pressure cleaner, in order to prevent clogging effects caused by detritus, algae and faeces, and the observations of the plankton development in the location. The system is environmentally safe since: no feeds or fertilizer are applied, the construction materials are inert, and the plankton consumption is minimal and does not affect the natural stocks.
UNDERWATER LIGHTS to increase growth and delay maturity
Underwater lights are used sucessfully (24 h/day) to delay maturation and increase growth in several fish species (like: Salmon, Trout and Cod etc.). in both sea- and landbased farms. This special submersible waterproof (IP 68) lights are made according to IEC and CE standards and are DEMKO and NEMKO approved. The socket of the special lamps is base E40 and the glass lens has a thickness of 5 mm. They have been tested at independant laboratories and light distribution files are used for calculating distribution in cages and tanks. The light intensity is 70-90 lm/W, the light current is 80-90000 lm and the colour temperature 4000-5000 K. They have dimensions (Length x Diameter) of 565 x 130 mm, a weight of 12,5 kg and are delivered with 20-40 m fixed marine cable (3 x 2,5 mm²) and are available in two power ratings (400 or 1000 W, 3,2 or 5,5 A) for a voltage of 230 V/50 Hz.
POLYMER COATED POLYESTER NETS for cages

This special polymer coated polyester net is very strong and stable, but also flexible. The nets are 100 % stronger than conventional nylon nets, are highly UV-resistant, suitable for seawater and need no antifoulants. They need less maintainance and have fewer escapes than nylon nets. Nets having been in use for more than 20 years still look like new and save a lot of total operation costs! The material is available on coils with a width of 3,6-3,8 m with a mesh size of 5 to 12 mm, and 5 m wide with a mesh size of 20 to 40 mm. With a weight of 450 to 780 g/m2 the cages need no lead sinkers. We deliver finished cages or also the material on coils.

NYLON NET MATERIAL for cages and fishery
The production is based on a complete process, from the raw material, passing the different manufacturing phases like: matching, weaving, cutting and packing. Our aim is to assure a quality product to the customer. Woven in high resistant nylon, all our nets are machine sewed with double rows of stitching. UV-antifouling protection or colouration, on request. The finished nets are delivered in any shape or size with a mesh size of 4 to 30 mm, or only the net material itself.
Seine Nets in two designs:
Seine net with bag - consiting of two wings and respective bag in between, for
the catch of fishes in lakes, rivers and ponds etc.
Seine net without bag - consisting of a well vault single wall, for the harvest of fishes
in ponds, raceways and tanks etc.
Both nets are complete ready to use mounted in strong rope with foam floats and lead
sinkers.
Trap Nets in two outfits:
Fish traps - with one trouth and three galvanized iron rings, as well as two wing nets
each 1,5 m long.
Fish bags - with two trouths and five iron or plastic rings, as well as two wing nets each
2,0 m long or a 3 m long guide net.
Both nets are complete ready to use. Longer wing or guide nets with floats and sinkers are
possible.
Cast Nets in two arts:
Traditional Art - the lower line with harvest bags, which catch the fish.
Yugoslavian Art - the lower border will be formed to bags by ropes during lifting.
Both nets are complete ready to use and have a circumference of about 7 m, a height of
approx. 1,7 m and a mesh size of 11 mm as standard.
Scoop Nets in two forms:
D- or O-formed strong, corrosion free scoope frames (wide 40-70 cm) with protection and
preparation for handle.
Both nets are complete ready to use mounted with net bag (mesh size 4-20 mm), and a handle
(length 1,3 m) from hard-wood as accessoire.

PRECISION CLOTHS for aquaculture and hydrobiology
This fabric program includes precision sieves of
different material strengths and offers a narrow mesh grading between 20-2000 micrometer
and therefore fulfils all requirements of today's aquaculture and hydrological needs.
Appropriate sieve fabrics are offered per running meter and as standard or customised
products, such as filter-, dip-, hatching-, cage- and plancton-nets.
In Austria a catch of zooplancton for the production of fry and fingerlings is commonly
practisized since more than 50 years. During the last years several important
optimisations are archived allowing a better net construction and easy catching. With
appropriate designed plancton nets, harvests of several tons per day can be achived.
Thank's to this Austrian development of special sieve-net-systems, it is possible to grad
the plancton in 3 different size classes during the catch. The result is the correct
plancton size for all development stages from fish larvae to fry and fingerling. An
expensive and complicated indoor-production of prey organisms (such as: Algae, Rotatoria,
Artemia, Daphnia etc.) is not necessary.
SHADING SHEETS AND NETS to protect fishes

Shades and nets are made from UV-stable polyethylene material with a shadding density of 30-85 % to protect fish and ponds from light and birds. The sheets which let water (from rain) to drain off, are available on coils from 1,5 and 3,0 m width and can be manufactured with extra strong hem and eyes. For pricing allways the width of the coil is calculated.
We deliver also bird protection nets with a mesh size of 15 - 150 mm.
TRAPS made of plastic material


This easy to handle and maintenance free plastic traps have been tested in practice and are suitable for both professional and sport fisherman. Features such as a new shape and correct colouring are the result of fishing expertises. A favorable price/performance rate ensures highest economy in use. Of course the traps are saltwater and corrosion resistant and also resistant to crabs and other pests. This traps (with exchangable components) have an inlet opening of approx. 42 cm and an integrated bait basket in the closed end cap. The traps are specially suitable for catching eels, but can also be used for other fish species as well as crayfish. This traps are delivered complete with plastic covered iron spits (12 mm Ø) for submerging, which guarantee that the trap is allways positioned with the upper closed side on top, which in turn created a protection shelter for the animals.

NET CLEANING SYSTEM with high pressure
This netcleaners
maintain a flow of oxygenated water through the nets, that keeps them clean with
minimal disturbance and no need to remove the fish from the pens. It's construction
and design make the washers head working toward the net against its own high pressure
water stream and can be used on all types of nets and cages. The netwasher
loosen and pulverize, with its high pressure waterstream, algae growth, food remains and
other fouling, which in turn will drift away by the current. The single head disk is
easily used, the dual head disk is for faster cleaning.
The fuel driven pressure pump with high output drives the head of the netwasher
disk or can be used for pressure washing. It can be operated by one man from the boat or
walkway/collar or underwater by a diver.
Alternatively a hydraulic power pack for workboats is available, which is permanently
installed with all the advantages of hydraulic drive, useful for pressure washing on boat
and cages.
The requirement for seafood continually rises
worldwide, and product is continually becoming more scarce. Aquaculture is a young,
innovative part of economy with high growth rates and secure prospects. The future of fish
production requires water to be used as economical as possible, and environmentally safe
removal of waste products with lowest possible energy consumption. Demands of environment
legislation reduce possibilities of open water fish production more and more. Already
existing fish farms are confronted with directions for purification of their waste waters.
This accelerates the development of intensive, water saving systems for fish production
which do not depend upon natural environmental factors. Production in a closed water
systems offers more a compact growing environment for fish, low shared personal costs and
good profits.
In such systems the waste water, which is loaded with metabolic by-products, is recycled
through biological and physical purification and more than 90 % re-used. Through
improvement of the re-circulation and filter technique we are able to offer an very
efficient, easy and cost effective system for fresh and seawater. Risk minimization,
process control and fish health are factors considered in our designs and re-circulation
systems are produced in module-construction. Each module is an autonomous working system
and is therefore the water is not transferred between modules. Depending on system size
and customer wishes our systems will be supplied with modern measuring, regulation and
security technique and working accessory.
Depending on the requirements (production capacity, conditions and species) we offer
generally two systems:
RECIRCULATION SYSTEMS for nursing and holding
The modules for nursery and holding are available for a yearly production-capacity of 1-2 t (125-250 kg standing crop) and consists of 2 square and 1 filter tanks with the needed technique and equipment. The water from the fishpools are cleaned through a particle filter to remove suspended solids prior to bio-filtration. The bacterial settlement for nitrification will develop on the packages of the reactor, mud will be removed through the current. Our bio-reactors have the gigantic settlement-area of over 900 m2 per cubic meter filter material and therefore we need only very small filter units. Through the introduction of fine air bubbles through a special aeration- and lift construction our systems work without pumps and therefore require less energy thereby reducing costs. Through compact construction, our systems can be installed any time and anywhere without rebuilding or extension expense.

RECIRCULATION SYSTEMS for the intensive production
The modules for production are available for a yearly production-capacity of 50 t/year (standing crop 10 t) onward and allow our customers to get familare with the technique and topic without high risks. The water from the fishpools are cleaned through a drum filter to remove suspended solids prior to bio-filtration, where the nitrification process and the aeration with oxygen takes place. From there the water is pumped to the fishtanks, wich could be adapted to customer wishes in form, size and number. The use of UV- or ozone is planned. This system is available for all fish species (also salmonids). Beside consulting and planning we offer also training and service as well as the seed (fingerlings) etc.
HOLDING AQUARIA for fish and seafood
An aquarium should be seen
as a complex grouping of elements functioning synergetically to maintain constancy of
environmental characteristics, countering any variation whatsoever and simulating as far
as possible the whole biological cycle that is present in nature and indispensable to the
live of the aquatic animals. This professional range of aquariums are designed for holding
of live crustacea or fishes at a working temperature of 10-30 °C and consists of double

This proven (GRP) glassfibre reinforced polyester tanks (isolated with polyurethane) are specially suitable for the holding of crustaceea and molluscs (like: lobsters and clams etc.). The units are delivered complete with in the bottom integrated mechanical-biological filter (Lithothamnium calcareum) with pre-filter, titanum-chiller (R134) with digital display and thermostate, UV-C and recirculation system with PVC-pipes. POLYESTER TANKS in all forms, sizes and colours
A long proven history (30 years) in pools and tanks manufactured of
(GRP) glassfibre reinforced polyester (450 g/m2). The conical form and funnel shaped
outlet and absolutely smooth inside finish ensure the system is practically self cleaning.
Therefore it is possible to hold sensitive bottom fish or fish larvae. The whole pool and
especially the edging very strong, allowing attachment of automatic feeders or other
equipment.
Optional laminated feet make it possible to place the pool safe on any bottom and ensure
easy lightweight handling or transportation. The pools and tanks are available in
different sizes and types. The outlets are made from PVC - pipe (110 mm Ø) with water
level regulation, which is fixed under the bottom and leaded at the pool side.
CIRCULATION BASINS for better production conditions
Our completely new developed
"Circulation Basins" are between a rectangular tank and a circular pool. They
summarize all advantages of both (i.e.: self cleaning, good flow conditions), but don't
have their disadvantages (i.e.: bad water exchange, bad fish distribution). We recommend
our new basins specially for recirculation systems to offer better production conditions
to the fishes and to use the water more economically, but also for space and current
loving fish species (i.e.: Salmons, Sturgeons).
We recommend a width/length relation of 1:3. Every basin has therefore two bottom outlets
and should have also (two) inlets, thereby. A central seperator (middle wall) divides the
basin in an endless canal.
We offer various models from our "Circulation Basins", which are made from
Glassfibre Reinforced Polyester (GRP) and are available in all colours of the RAL-scale.
CIRCULAR POOLS with liner
This pools can be placed in or on the round and
consists of a 0.6 mm strong galvanized iron wall which is painted inside and plastic
covered outside. The lower and upper bottom- and hand-rails are made of strong plastic to
ensure a long selflife. Inside the pools are lined with a 0.8 mm strong PVC liner with
exact fitting in black colour.

PRESSURE FILTER with cleaning technique
This compact prssure
filters with integrated UV-C lamp (9-11 Watt for up to 9.000 hours) are complete filter
systems with ecological threefold operation technic (mechanical/biological/optical), to
solve all filter problems in garden ponds or aquarium tanks. An integrated user friendly
backwash system allows an easy maintenance without opening of the filter. The water
leaving the filter has the same pressure as the entering water and therefore may can also
used for waterfalls or injectors and therefore provides for a better oxygenation. The
filters have a diameter of approx. 27-37 cm and a height of 47-57 cm. They can stand free
or set into the ground, below or above the water outlet and used for fresh- or saltwater.
The filters are available in two sizes with a volume of 25-30 l and 1" hose
connections, for a recommended water flow of approx. 2.500-5.000 l/h and tank or pond size
of 3-6 resp. 6-12 m3 (with resp. without fish stock).
SAND
FILTERS for high comfort
This sand filters are made of glassfibre reinforced polyester (GRP) and available in various sizes, heights and types.
The filter units with high performance are available as single
systems with or without distribution cross and outlet valve, manometer (with automatic
and/or manual air removement) or also complete with pipes and ready for connection (230
Volt/50 Hz) with 6-way backwash valve, selfpriming filterpump (with large debrits
collector in pastic) mounted on a noise reducing plate made of plastic.
An automatic backwash system is available for all modells and guarantees high comfort and
safety.
The special filter sand is available as accessoire.
FILTER CHAMBERS with swirl seperator
This new compact filters
are used specially for holding units and garden ponds and are very effective for the fine
and raw filtration. The system can be operated by gravity or pumps and can be placed into
the ground or stands free. A long inlet opening secures that the water in the vortex
rotates slowly, so that the larger waste particles are traped in the center of the bottom.
The build-in flow channels force the water to flow trough the filter media (i.e.: Filter
brushes, Japan matts, Sinter glas, Aqua rock, Bio balls, Poly foam etc.). The waste
particles concentrate at each cone, where they can be removed reularely by opening of a
gate valve. The models are made from galssfibre reinforced polyester (GRP) and are
delivered with cover and outlet pipes. They are available with or without filter material.

DRUMM FILTERS with high cleaning capacity
This drumfilters for the mechanical cleaning of medium to heavy
loaded aquaculture or industry waste waters are made from stainless steel and are
available complete with filter frames and screens, cleaning pump, electric control and
with or without installation tank.
The filters are available for flow capacities of 8-750 or 7-500l/sec (at max. 10 mg or 25
mg load per liter), with filter screens from 20-100 µm, and a filter area of 0,5-13,76
m2. The energy demand is 180-750 watt and the water demand for cleaning is 0,13-1,10 l/sec
at 2,5 bar.

PROTEIN SKIMMERS for aquaculture and aquaria
This protein
scimmers have a good dimensioned volume of the reaction- and foam tube. A special
injection unit generates a vacuum, where air is succed in and distributed in fine bubbles.
In seawater the single bubbles have a volume of 0,065 mm3, a surface of 0,785 mm2 and a
diameter of 0,5 mm. Each liter air generates therefore a total surface of 12 m2. A
rotating (patented) nozzle system cleans the foam tube and the foam collector. Over a
valve (optional automatic) water cleans the nozzle sytems. A regulating system allows to
operate the scimmer also under extreme differing situations of water column.
The optimal retention time is about 2 min., if the flow rate is increased the retention time decrease.

BIOFILTER MEDIA with high settlement area

For Recirculating Aquaculture Systems (RAS) as well as aquaria and gardenponds or for the biological cleaning of wast waters after fish farms or culture ponds we supply the settling material for the biofilter which can be used in flow filters as well as sprinkling filters. The filter materials have a high settlement area for bacteria and allow a high removement rate respectively a good biological cleaning of ammonia or nitrate (nitrification/denitrification) of the water of approx. 0.5 g NH4-N/m2 in flow filters (in fresh water at a water temperature of over 20 °C). In moving bead or flow filters, 60-80 % of the filter volume can be filled with filter material. In standing or sprinkling filters, with a reduced cleaning capacity respective with more filter material of 20-40 % must be calculated. In seawater as well at water temperatures under 15 °C, with a reduced cleaning capacity respectively with more filter material of 40-60 % must be calculated.

This compact
(CE-certified) heating and/or cooling systems can be used for various liquid media (also
seawater or foods) and are very save and secure in operation through the missing direct
contact to the media. An electronic control via a high precision thermostat and the
continous display of the temperatur via a digital thermometer allow an easy and exact
control of the temperature. An ecologic chooling gas (R 134 a) and a low power consumption
are features of this transportable and easy to install systems. The standard connection is

WATER DESINFECTION with UV-light

Ultraviolet light (UV) destroys microorganisms by changing their
genetic information (DNA), but does not produce residual or hazardous by-products, nor
does it affect the tast, odor or colour characteristics of the treated water. It is light
with very high energy levels and wavelength of 200-400 nanometer (nm). The most effective
ultraviolet light for desinfection is UV-C (200-280 nm), specially with a wavelength of
254 nm.
The heart of the UV systems are high-performance spectrotherm lamps (low pressure
technology) which provide a stable UV output through a wider temperature range. This
special spectrothermal lamps show higher degrees of effectiveness and stability than other
conventional lamps. They also exhibit a high UV power output (up to three times more than
competitive low pressure lamps) and long operating live (12,000 h), resulting in decreased
overall costs. The efficient lamps have a high UV emission in the area of the effective
wavelengths (254 nm), that makes it possible to destroy more than 99.99% of all pathogens
in water. To further increase efficiency, reliability and service lifetime, electronic
power supplies (ballasts) for the lamps where developed. In addition, the new electronic
ballast replaces several components required in conventional systems, reducing overall
electrical cabinet size and heat transfer requirements.
Electronic controllers containing smart chips are designed specifically for the lamps and
increasing effectiveness. These can vary the supply of energy to the lamps as a function
of water quality and flow rates. They ensure that optimal levels of ultraviolet rays are
emitted in the effective wavelength range and at the same time, they ensure low energy
consumption. Consequently the lamps have much longer life expectancy than conventional
lamps. In addition, calibrated sensors, monitor and document all factors necessary for
desinfection and provide superior wavelenght selectivity (>99% at 254 nm), minimal
drift (± 2%) and long service life. Upon reaching a present limit, the UV systems
automatically signal that cleaning is necessary. If required, additional functions, such
as ultraviolet dose indicators, automatic cleaning and remote monitoring via telemetry and
the internet, can be integrated.
By studying various reactor geometries with respect to the UV intensity distribution and
hydraulic characteristics, specific reactors types where developed to provide effective
desinfection while minimising overall power requirements. Our systems have a modular
design, which enables us to draw up solutions that are specified to our clients' needs in
all areas of ultraviolet desinfection for up to sereral m3/h. This systems are
characterised by their high desinfection performance, combined with compact construction
and low energy consumption. Depending on the application, also special ranges are
available that can be easily integrated into existing systems. The control panel indicates
and measures important operating parameters such as UV intensity (mW/cm2) in the water.
Alternatively, the UV dose (mJ/cm2) can be calculated and displayed if a flow signal is
provided.
INJECTION AERATORS for aeration, circulation, destratification and oxygenation
This injectors are one of the best and most advanced aeration
systems worldwide, and also suitable for large ponds. They work with an for endurance run
produced, maintenance free, turnable, submerged (also seawater resistant), motor in
different power sizes (1.0 HP 230 V/50 Hz or 1.5-2.0 HP 380 V/50 Hz). The rotating
propeller (2800 r.p.m.) produces an adjustable current, through which air drawn from the
surface and formed into fine evenly distributed bubbles.
The diffused air aerate from the bottom up and the circulation created from the fine
bubbles displaces the surrounding water, thus breaking up stratified water areas. This
constant surge forces the pond to turn over, bringing cooler bottom water to the surface,
where it picks up additional oxygen from the atmosphere. Therefore the dissolved oxygen is
always as high as possible. Through the eutrophication process (of faeces and feeds) there
is usually oxygen deficit at depth, therefore this system works to an adjustable depth and
introduces the oxygen where it is needed, not only on the surface. If submerged, pure
oxygen instead of air can be introduced with exact dosage. Long contact time of the
fine bubbles in the water, ensures also this system is very effective.
Depending on power and depth, the air flow rate is up to 35 cubic meter/hour and the
oxygen introduction up to 3 kg/h/kw. At an oxygen content of 6 mg O2/l at beginning, one
1.0 HP unit in use with air, introduce over 0.32 kg O2/h which is the oxygen demand for
over 2600 kg (table sized 250 g) trouts at a water temperature of 10 °C, for approx. 1000
kg at 20 °C or up to 3000 kg of other species.
Depending on installation, depth and current, sediments can also be cleaned. If the
aerator is positioned near the water surface it also acts as an ice clearing machine in
winter. Strong circulation also eliminates pond stratification and organic matter
deposition. Finally thanks to the floatation phenomenon (foaming), this aerators make it
possible to remove excess algae proliferation, colloidal substances, mud and any other
suspended particles and improve water quality. With this proven system, all variants of
aeration, current creation and oxygenation are possible.
Theese proven aerators are made in China and are supplied complete with motor, supports,
float kit and propeller protection fingers, but are not available for delivery to:
Portugal, Spain, Italy, France, Belgium, Danmark, Germany, Great Britain, USA, Mexico,
Thailand and Taiwan. They are lightweight compact systems (Motor: 14 to 16 kg), and very
easy to install.
INJECTORS without further energy consumption
This "ECO" injector is a new developed static aerator for the water inlet pipe (1 ") in tanks, raceways and small ponds, that works hydraulically and has no moving parts. It is designed to ensure cost-effective use of any viable water source. For degassing, aeration, oxygenation and dosing with chemicals (thereby avoiding the slightest wastage and maximising efficiency). In enriching the water with air or pure oxygen, this aerator can create good circulation with a lesser ammount of water than is usually supplied, with consequent energy savings. It works hydraulically (from 0.2 bar and 0.4 l/sec. on) exploiting the act the water passing through it at high speed (achieved by means of suitable flow rates and pressures with the special 3 interchangeable nozzles (for approx. 30, 50 or 100 liter/minute) and creates a great pressure drop and consequently a tremendous suction capacity, without introducing additional energy. If no pressure is available it can be connected to any pump.
PROPELLER AERATOR with horizontal spray pattern
This
propeller aerator was specially developed for intensive production of fish in tanks,
raceways and ponds. The maintenance free, heavy duty, motor (230 or 380 Volt) has a
mounted propeller which allows a high water circulation and has an oxygen transfere rate
of approx. 1.5 kg/kwh. The small float size (70 x 70 cm) as well as the compact and
lightweight system make it fast and easy to install.

AERATOR PUMP with fontain spray pattern
This "Spray" aerator pump with 25 m cable is specially suitable for ponds and introduce a lot of oxygen into the water. If the self floating pump is connected with the spray nozzle it becomes an aerator with fontain spray pattern. If the supplied nozzle is changed to the supplied pipe adaptor it can be used as a floating pump for irrigation. The change of theese two functions doesn't need any tool. They have a very reasonable price and are easy to install, eighter floating on the water surface or submerged to any depth (with an anchor stone).

PADDLEWHEEL SYSTEMS for effective oxygen introduction
Aeration and/or oxygenation is specially of economic importance in intensive farms. At this completely new developed systems all possible failures and defects of other known products have been removed. The systems have been tested under hardest conditions and have a very high effeciency, with the same time low investment and operation costs. The oxygen introduction is usually about 1.6 kg/kwh. There are no bearings of the wheel (100-130 r.p.m) necessary and also no couplings and discs, this reduce friction lost and increase the effeciency and also reduce the possible parst which could become deffect with time. A very long self live and high efficieny is also guarandeed through the worm-gearing. The motor is specially sealed aginst moisture. Paddles, wheel and frame are made of stainless steel, the floats from thick UV- and ozone resistant material. The Paddlewheel Aerators are available in different power ratings (180, 250, 370, 550 and 750 Watt) and have dimensions of approx. 1.5 x 1.6 x 0.6 m (LxWxH) and a weight of 30-70 kg.
To use this paddlewheel aerators also with pure oxygen instead of air, as accessoire a special oxygen cover is available. The special formed cover inside guarantees that no oxygen (feed up to 15 l/min) disperse or waste to the surface, after the water leaves the aerator. As there are no seals necessary at the bearing of the wheel, also this guarantees that there is no oxygen wasted and thus this makes the system very effective too. The efficiency is up to 90 %.
RUBBER DIFFUSER with stainless steel frame
This professionell, extremely durable and effective diffusers are suitable
for the live fish transport and for emergency purposes with pure oxygen. The approx. 1000
pores/meter arranged in 6 rows, of the special oxygen hose open only if oxygen is supplied
and close again if the supply stops. Thus, pore blockage is prevented and the diffuser is
allways ready to operate. An uniform bubble size due to the streight hose mounting in a
stainless steel frame are main features of this professionell diffusers. The sturdy hose
connection is 6 mm as standard (and is also available in 9 mm if prefered).

CERAMIC PLATE DIFFUSERS for micro gas bubbles
This diffusers are robust engineered products with high
specification and performance and perhaps are the most efficient diffusers available. The
ceramic plate has been designed to be very strong, the thickness (approx. 12 mm) of the
ceramic has been increased over the more conventional plates. The pore size is also only
0.3 microns which produces a cloud of tiny oxygen bubbles (10-200 microns) in the water.
Depending on the gas (oxygen or ozone) and water chemistry, the diffused gas may pass
directly into solution with no visible sign of bubbles. There is no better gas diffuser
available.
The flow is optimally 3-4 l/min and maximally 6-8 l/min. The working gas pressure is 25 to
35 psi, do not exceed 50 psi as it may result in damage to the diffuser. The ultimate in
flat plate ceramic gas diffuser. One diffuser will supply sufficient oxygen to supply 100
% of the oxygen demand of approximately 2000 kg of fish with an efficiency approaching 100
% transfer of oxygen into solution and a oxygen satturation in the water of over 120 %. In
seawater applications it can actually be difficult to see the bubbles, since the gas goes
almost directly into solution.
The ceramic flat plate diffusers has a weight of 3,55 kg, outside dimensions of 450 x 110
x 28 mm with a ceramic plate of 400 x 90 x 12 mm (360 cm2) which gives a very small bubble
size and are used where a small high rate diffuser with a high oxygen transfer efficiency
is required. The diffuser has 4 mounting holes where stoppers can be fitted and has a
female BSP threaded inlet with 6 mm adapter to connect the pressure hose.
PROFESSIONAL CERAMIC DIFFUSERS for air
The fine poored ceramic tubes allow to diffuse the air in fine bubbles. The diffusers should be installed in the same deepth, but as deep as possible below the water surface. The floating cross diffuser is placed on the water surface in the center of the tank or pond and fixed with a rope to the shore so that it can move a little and aerate a larger area.
The cross diffusers are available complete with 20 mm hose tail (other on request) and are delivered with or without float. The 1 m long feeeding tube is also available shorter. Each diffuser tube has a length of 18 cm and a diameter of 6 cm and can introduce approx. 1.5 to 2.0 m3 air/hour each (6-8 m3 per cross diffuser). They are also available as self sinking single tube diffusers with hose tail.
FLEXIBLE GAS DIFFUSERS with high performance
This is
among the most robust and versatile fine bubble diffusers commercially available. The
diffuser has the capacity to pass large quantities of air, oxygen or carbon dioxide with
low pressure drop and small bubble size (approx. 1-4 mm). Fine bubble diffusion is
inherently more effective than coarse bubble diffusers in providing a greater mixing
action and aeration efficiency. The diffusers are of a tubular semi-flexible construction
(32 mm in diameter). An outer polyester sleeve encases a silica particle ballast and an
inner nylon distributor. The internal ballast is not fused together, therefore
precipitates such as iron and carbonates tend to crack off, and can be flushed out easily.
The internal ballast (weight approx. 1.6 kg/m) means that the diffuser does not need to be
anchored to the floor of the tank. The unique design of the diffusers makes them largley
resistant to biological and chemical fouling. The diffuser resolves many of the problems
associated with other diffusers and has proven itself with over 10 years of use in many
industrial and wast water treatment applications and it is the leading air diffuser for
aquaculture. This gas diffuser is a hybrid air diffuser with the benefits of both tubulare
membrane and solid air diffusers, but with few of the disadvantages. Solid diffusers can
breack or become blocked by biofouling, iron and carbonate precipitation. Membrane and
other tubular difussers have to be secured to the tank bottom. The membranes (elastomers)
can also suffer from fatigue, and as a consequence the performance can rapidly tail off
over a few months.
The diffusers are sized (up to 5 m in length) according to the flow (m3/h) of air to be
used. Length is approx. 33 cm per m3/h air or liter oxygen/min flow rate and pressure drop
is less than 1 psi. All diffusers are supplied with either 3/8", or 1/2" hose
tails in acetyl plastic. Brass or stainless steel fittings and non return valves are also
available.
MEMBRANE COMPRESSORS for Direct Current
This simpe
membrane diaphragm compressors supply oil-free air and are perfectly suitable for live
fish transports, where the required energy (12 V/DC standard, 24 V/DC on request) can be
supplied by a battery i.e. from the truck. As accessoires 6 mm hoses and various diffusers

REGENERATIVE BLOWERS for pressure or vacuum generation
This reliable and favorable blowers summarise modern know-how of pressure and
vakuum generation, based on longtime experiences. The motoris constructed for endurance
run is available in various power sizes. Concerning the compact dimensions and the low
sound this blowers are easy and everywhere to install. Lateral channel blowers work
regeneratively. Casing and impeller with radial blades form a circular body. The medium
(air) is accelerated by centrifugal force in the blade channels, stocked and compressed.
This process continues permanently with continually increasing pressure rising until the
medium leaves the casing through the outlet connection. Because of the special principle
of construction and design, there is no contact between rotating parts.
Our unique submerged air blowers (on request) are installed directly in the water and
allow therefore shorter pipe-lines, resulting in lower oppositions. This submerged blowers
are nearly noth to hear and also save space. The waste heat from the submerged blowers can
be used to heat the water in warmwater recirculation systems, which is an additional
advance. The blowers can be installed single, paralell or for increasing the pressure,
also in rows. At special request, all blowers can be produced for seawater use or other
electric frequencies. As accessoire air filters, sound absorbers and security valves are
available. The machines are delivered as mono stage (M) or doubble stage (D) blowers with
single (S) or twin (T) impeller.

WATERPROOF POCKET TESTERS for aquaria and aquaculture
These
waterproof (IP67) and pocket sized testers (153 mm long, 24 mm diameter, weight just 45 g)
with digital display are ideal for aquaria or aquaculture and any other field
applications. There are different models with replaceable electrode and automatic
temperature compensation available that read conductivity or salinity (0-1999 µS EC or
0,0-199,9 ppm TDS), pH-value and temperature (0.00-14.00 pH and 0.0-50.0 ºC) or redox
potential (±1000 mV ORP) at an affordable price. The tester are factory calibrated, but
can be manually calibrated and measurements are highly accurate (0.1 or 2 % or mV) with

DIGITAL PHOTOMETER for various water parameters

analysis, this microprocessor photolyser meter with professional concept and high
precision is the right coice. Just select the required program on the foil
pushbuttons. The display shows the parameter and dimesions exactly (to 2 digits behind the
got). An acustic sign informs when the reaction time is finished. The results are
displayed on the meter and can be stored for later processing. The meter is equipped with
a RS-485 adaptor. Via an additionaly integrated RS-232 adaptor the meter can be
connected to a printer or PC (cable as accessoire available). It is possible to archive

SATUROMETER to identifie gas super-satturation
This new handheld saturometer
(Protection class IP65, with electric backlight display identifies gas super-saturation in
water reliably to 400 hPa resp. mbar pressure difference, with an accuracy of 1 hPa. It
works with a usual 6 x 1.5 Lithiumcells, with integrated capacity monitoring on the meter.
The maintainance free sensor is copleatly sealed (Protection class IP67, Signal outlet 0-5
V). As option also an oxygen sensor can be connected to the meter.
The gas bubble disease is very often present undetected and leads to significant damage in
the fish stock. If fish are being exposed to oversaturation continuously, they will suffer
from it no matter which gas contributed most to the supersaturation! In experiments it was
proven, that a continuous charge with only low levels of supersaturation has a significant
negative impact on the fish immune system. A fishstock infected with IPN (Infectious
Pancreas Necrosis) produced losses of 10-15 % after 90 days whereas fish from the same
stock epxosed to supersaturation showed a mortality rate of 65 %. The gas bubbles
themselves cause a lot of direct damages like lesions and embolies. Those alone are lethal
in some cases. But in every case they open the door for secondary infections which can not
be repelled by a weakened immune system. Another typical sample is a trout breeder who
reported fin rot and saprolegnia on the fish body. Measures showed a gas pressure of 45
hPa which equaled to 105 % gas saturation. It may not sound high but the pectoral fins
were severely damaged by gas bubble lesions. The fin rot and fungus (Saprolegnia) were
clearly produced by an undetected gas oversaturation.

This "OxyScan"
micro dissolved oxygen meters are specially developed for the use in aquaculture and
limnology. Through the very stable splashproof cover made from ABS plastic and the
delivery including plastic transport case as well as the plastic sensor (14 mm Ø, 150 mm
long with 2 m cable and connector) with a very long sensor life (approx. 2 years
standby time, physically) they are perfect for field work.
The full graphic display makes the result clear and fast visible. The short polarisation
time (approx. 30 sec. max. 5 min.), the low flow current sensitivity (1 % at 5 cm/sec.) as
well as the air-pressure and temperature compensation in the range of 5 - 40 °C makes
working easy. The automatic calibration with the included calibration chamber is an
additional feature.
A free-configurable switching output (24 V DC / 2 A or 230 V AC / 1 A) and exact analogue
output or an extended measurement range (up to 199,9 mg/l) are options for all these

MULTICHANNEL PROCESSERS for control and management
Automated monitoring and control removes the information
gap that exist with manual data collection, lower labour costs and allow to operate the
aerators exactly then when they are needed. One of the biggest advantages of automated
monitoring is that it provides critical data continuously and reduces the chance of human
errors. Continuous monitoring and control maintains the environment ideally suited for
optimal fish growth and production, and reduces the stress in both fish and workers.
The main unit is a small yet powerful microprocessor controlled system, and
is build on a modular basis. It accepts up to 8 analogue inputs (i.e.: for oxygen and
temperature), and has galvanic isolated control and alarm outputs (4-20 mA). The system
performs measurement, alarm and regulation functions ensuring safe operation, maximum feed
utilization and livestock growth. Optionally the system can be extended to a powerful
registration and data logging tool, where a PC can be connected, from which observation of
records and copying or logging of data can take place. It is a stand alone unit that does
not depend on a PC for correct operation and can operate (and be configured) without a PC.
The unit can also be connected to a 24 V battery pack to ensures that the system remains
operating after mains failure.
The robust and easy to use (60 mm large) oxygen probe is a
self polarising membrane covered galvanic cell that generates an electrical signal
proportional to the oxygen pressure it senses, no matter whether it is in water, air or
another medium. It is connected using ordinary 2-core cable, which can have any length (up
to 1000 m) and does not need an external supply because it makes its own electricity.
Cleaning the membrane (with a cloth or tissue) is, apart from an occasional calibration,
the only routine maintenance necessary.
CAMERA SYSTEM for underwater monitoring
This small waterproof (IP68) camera can
be used down to a deepth of 30 m The compact form with just 11 cm in length allows
to use it everywhere. The modern camera technic (1/3" Sony Super HAD CCD incl. 3,6 mm
objective, view angel 78 degree, 291.000 pixel, resolution 420 TV-lines) allow to use it
even under diffused light conditions (down to 0,01 Lux) and still supplies usable images.
Above 2 Lux the camera supplies perfect colour pictures, below 2 Lux it switch
automatically to b/w operation. The use and installation is very simple, just connect the
plugh of the camera to your vieo inlet of your TV and connect the cammera to the electric
circuit. By an USB Digital-Recorder box (available as accessoire) it is also possible to
display images of up to 4 cameras simulanously (manually, timed or via sensor), or to
transfere it to a PC to view, or store it. The camera can also be used year round
(temperature range -20 to +55 °C). The camera is delivered with turnable base,
transformer (230 V AC/12 V DC), BNC/Chinch-Adapter, as well as 30 m cable (longer cables
on request). As accessoire an underwater camera support frame (diameter 12 cm, weight 2,6
kg) is available, where the camera is is inserted and fixed on the ground.
FISH HATCHING JARS made from plastic
Used successfully for over 20 years by
federal, state and professional hatcheries and fish producers here and abroad, this jar
can be used for a wide variety of species like: Salmonids, Thymallids, Coregonids,
Acipenserids, Percids, etc. Made of high impact, non-corrosive easy to clean plastic, this
uniquely designed hatching system enables uniformely distributed water to rotate fish eggs
ever so gently and evenly. It works very simply as water from the supplying hose is
directed down to the open-ended feeder tube in the center of the jar. The tube (diameter 3
cm = 1.25 in.) easily accommodates the prefered water flow so that the eggs at the base
are rotated uniformely and precisely. The jar has a height of 45.8 cm (18 in.) a diameter
of 16 cm (6.25 in.) and a volume of 6.86 l (232 oz.). It weighs only 2.5 pounds and can be
ordered complete or also without feeder tube and screen. A circular filter/mesh screen (as
acessoire) prevents waste eggs from spilling out of the jar, while the large spout (length
7.5 cm = 3 in., width 5.3 cm = 2 in.) at the top lets hatched fish swimm out at just the

ZUGER-JAR-SYSTEM made of stainless steel
This systems are made of stainless steel and are equiped with 8 liter glass jars wich can be removed and supplied seperatly. Through the inlet tank, all jars can be individually supplied with water.
The standart system has 7 Jars each with a volume of 8 liters, other sizes or jars are also possible, depending on customer design. Single jars with or without support are also delivered.
The system can be equiped with a heating-/cooling system and in connection with an UV-sterilizer operated in recirculation.

VERTICAL
INCUBATORS for salmonid eggs
The vertical
incubators guarantees safe rearing conditions and is available with 4, 8 or 16 trays
approx. 60 x 60 cm (for 50.000, 100.000 or 200.000 eggs respectively up to 1 liter eggs per tray) made from
strong non toxic plastic material and includes the aluminum frames (approx. 44, 82 or 175
cm high) and all egg trays (approx. 50 x 40 x 4 cm) with PVC coated polyester screens.
Optional an isolation panel (clear or black) is available.
This incubator for the professional breeding and hatching of eggs and fry can be combined
and arranged in different ways, to utilise the water and space as effectively as possible.
The water (approx. 0.1-0.2 l/sec) from the inlet, flows through the trays on
which the eggs stays, and leaves the water tray over the front during the side canals to
the next tray, were it flows again through the egg tray and so on, so that all trays will
be supplied with sufficient oxygen. Without disturbing the other trays, each tray can be
drawn out and controlled easily.
BREEDING THROUGHS for salmonid eggs
The horizontal throughs allow an easy survey
of the breeding process and are available for up to 4 or 7 baskets approx. 40 x 40 cm (for
up to 1-2 liter eggs each) made from smooth reinforced glasfiber polyester (approx. 215 or
360 cm long). The stainless steel screen (1.5-2.0 mm holes) of the egg incubation baskets
are fitting exactly. Optional an outlet screen is available.
BREEDING BOX for running waters
An experience of many years in egg
incubation and fry rearing, as well as stocking experiments in various waters, where the
base of this new and innovative invention for the hatching of salmonid eggs in natural
running waters. The flood save and closeable box is made of stainless steel with
dimensions of (LxWxH) 85 x 20 x 12 cm, weight approx. 8 kg). It is used for the
professional and controlled incubation and hatching of salmonid eggs as well as for the
breeding and rearing of fry for (re)-stocking purposes. The box is simply set into the
water (front flap against the current and cover a little above the water line) and
anchored by the eyes to the bottom ground. Depending on fish species and egg size, the box
supports a save environment for up to 10.000 eggs and fry until exogenous feeding. The
eggs lay in baskets, which can be fitted with special hatching substrate to reduce
maintenance. Under normal conditions, the maintenance is limited to the
periodical controll (1 x per week) of the system, where results of 90-95 % are reached in
average. When the fry reach the stage of exogenous feeding they can distribute themselve
in the brook or river.
HATCHING SUBSTRATE for stronger fry
Mainly for salmons, but also for many other salmonids, this 2-layer hatching substrate (40x40 cm) have been used and proven well. The eggs are incubated on the hatching substrate as usualy practized. After hatching the larvae move trough the spaces and shelter in the substrate nipples of the soft rubber like plastic substrate. The hatching substrate imitates the gravel substrate naturaly occuring in the brooks or rivers and provides optimal developmental conditions for the fish larvae. The fry are therefore stronger, have less deformations and a lower mortality rate.
MANUAL SORTING DEVICE for salmonid eggs
Formerly, developed at the Austrian Institut of
Fisheries Economy in Scharfling, this handheld egg-sucker has been rebuild, allowing to
select dead Salmonid eggs now easily and fast.
The pistol-formed device has to be hold at the handle with one hand, with the other hand
the sucktion ball has to be pressed until the unit overflows at the tube end. Now, each
egg can be avised with the sucktion pipe and if the button at the handle is pressed, it
will be sucked into the plexiglass collecting unit.
With some experience, it is possible to work with this device fast end exactly. Where no
automatic sorting machine is available, it is the best professional device for sorting
Salmonid eggs manually.
AUTOMATIC FISH EGG SORTER with fiber optics and infrared light
This egg sorting
machine uses the most current technology to sort 100,000 eggs per hour. It is available
with both live and dead egg counter or also without counters. Using the patented standard
disk, the egg sorter will sort salmonid eggs from 5,000-18,000 per kg (150 to 500 per
ounce), or if equipped with the salmon disk, it will sort any size salmon egg. Best of
all, you never have to change disks to handle different sizes of eggs. The patented
technology uses fiber optics and modulated infrared light to scan the egg and assure the
highest level of accuracy (approx. 98-99 %). It has been used all around the world and
will accommodate any local voltage. In the interest of safety and reliability, the local
voltage is reduced to 12 volts DC. It has dimensions (LxWxH) of approx. 78 x 35 x 27 cm
(32 x 14 x 11"), a weight of 23.4 kg (52 lbs), and an egg tank capacity of 19 liters
(5 gallons) and is made of clear and white acrylic plastic.
Eyed eggs are placed in the trough with water flowing through the bottom. Several kilogram
of eggs may be loaded at one time. The water flushes the "eyed" eggs against the
patented disk where they are captured in the tapered holes in the outside of the disk.
Once the egg sorter is fitted with the disk matching the type of egg you are sorting
(trout or salmon) it will sort any size egg inserted. The eggs in the disk then pass an
electronic scanning device which, using modulated infrared light, detects dead eggs. All
with 100 % ambient light immunity. Dead eggs are then ejected out one side of the sorter
while the live eggs travel to the opposite side where a gentle flow of air ejects them
into a curtain of water which carries them to a separate container - safe, sound and ready
for further incubation. The counters then increment, providing accurate totals of both
live and dead eggs sorted. Each time a dead egg is detected, a light comes on giving you
visual assurance that everything is working correctly.
AUTOMATIC FEEDERS for controlled feeding of dry food

This Solaris Feeding System was designed and constructed to the latest specifications in the field of aqua culture economics by using the most modern components of present day technology.
The model "STANDARD" is delivered with a (600 mA) solar panel, which supplies a motor with the needed energy. This feeds without battery, without electronic, (some seconds, some seconds pause) from sunrise to sunset (also on rainy days). The daily feeding amount (1-5 mm Pellet) is adjustable from 0,1 kg up to 100 kg/day.
The model "INTERVAL" is also equipped with a feeding computer and accumulator (to balance weather depending days) which is mounted in a splash proof box (directly on the feeder) and can be adjusted exactly to feeding intervals, feed amount and time.
The model "SUPERSPREADER" is equipped additionally with an adjustable sector and round spreader (radius adjustable approx. 2-8 m and up to 20 m on request), and delivered with a bigger solar panel.
The model "UNIVERSAL" can additionally be used for fine granulated feeds and pellets up to 12 mm.
Thewhite or green feed hoppers are available in four sizes (for 15, 25, 45, 75 or 100 litre). As accessoire a tube or ring holder hopper support is available. Optionally we deliver a holder construction to fix the feeder on land or a floating construction to put it on the water surface.
All models are also available without solar panel, accumulator and timer, for the connection to a central power supply with transformer and distributor box (for up to 8 or 24 feeders).
For this central timer and distributor box we also provide
special hatchery feeders.
The model "HATCHERY" is a disc-feeder with a 2,5 l volume feed zylinder and was developed for feeding the finest fry food up to 2 mm pellets in the hatchery. The feeder is suspended above the fry tanks, thus allow you to have sufficient space to work. Power supply is provided via a distributor box equipped with a (220V AC/12 V DC) transformer and a timer. The beginning (i.e. morning) and the end (i.e. evening) of the feeding period are set on the timer. The distributor box automatically issues a pulse which switches the motors of all (up to 24) connected feeders on simultaneously for a short time to move the conveyor disk(s). The interval between pulses is infinitely adjustable from 0,1 second to 10 hours. For individual feeder dosage, the slot between conveyor disk and the plexiglass zylinder can be adjusted. For this purpose, slacken the adjustment screw (turn counterclockwise), turn the conveyor disk cklockwise (the slot becomes smaller), or turn it counterclockwise (the slot becomes wider), and inaly re-tighten the adjustment screw.
PENDULUM FEEDERS for self service

The model "PENDULUMFEEDER" is a self feeder for 1-5 mm pellets
with a disc. When the fish touch the pendulum, the feed falls from the disc directly into
the water. The slot between feeder and disc can be adjusted.
The model "PENDULUMSPREADER" is a self-feeder for 1-5 mm pellets with solar panel, which continously operates a spreader disc. When the fish touch the pendulum, a part of the feed falls directly into the water and a part of the food on the adjustable spreader disc which spreads it over a distance of up to 8 m (sector spreader).
The white or green feed hoppers are available in five sizes (for 15, 25, 45, 75 or 100 liter). As accessoire a tube or ring holder hopper support is available.
PNEUMATIC FEEDERS with blower
This easy to use and very robust pneumatic feeder, is specially recommended for feeding on ponds or raceways, where large feeding areas (up to 10 m2) and a wide feed distribution (up to 12 m) are necessary. The compact and lightweight container made from stainless steel is suitable for the rough conditions in the field outside. It has a capacity up to 120 kg of dry food, has 2 extendable pipe outlets with distributor plates and contains also the blower (220 V/50 Hz, max. 375 W) and a timer etc. The timer allow to set up to 4 feeding times per hour, and the feeding time can be adjusted undependen. The feed quantity and be additionally changed at the 2 pipe outlets by a screw. The whole feeder has a diameter of approx. 70-75 cm, a height of max. 1 m and an empgy weight of approx. 30 kg.
BELT FEEDERS with
strong clockwork
Since more than 30 years this feeders are in use for save and exact feeding of fish fry and fingerlings. The clockwork runns over (12 or 24 hours) and is started if the belt is returned (in the morning) where the feed (up to 3-5 kg) is placed. The new clockwork with strong and corrosion free steel spring and splashproof acryl cover as well the plastic box lasts best the weather conditions and guarantees a long live of the feeder.
The feeders are available in 2 sizes and have dimensions (L x W x H) of 560 x 200-300 x 150 mm and can easily used at any place without electric energy, like nursing ponds.
AUTOMATIC FEEDING DEVICE for frozen zooplankton
20 years world wide experience in
the field of plankton research, catch and larval feeding are the basis of the new
"Plankton feeder", which was developed with the Institute of Fish research.
This device is designed for the professional application of frozen zoo plankton as a
larval diet in marine and fresh water hatcheries for the production of high quality
fingerlings like: Coregonids, Chars, Grayling, Salmon, Sturgeon, Sea bass, Sea bream,
Turbot, Grouper and other species. The technique is based on a timed "wash down"
of feed layers from large frozen plankton crumbs (up to 20 kg) and homogeneous
distribution of the thawed plankton rations to the larval tanks by a specially developed
self cleaning distributor. "Wash down" of the food layers and thawing can be
performed either through spraying or by flooding or by a combination of both facilities,
the remaining plankton is frozen immediately. The feed particle size can be perfectly
adjusted by a special sieving unit. In order to avoid membrane damage and leaching effects
of the thawed plankton organisms, the feed is distributed to the (up to 32) larval tanks
by gravity flow only.
If necessary we deliver also the frozen crustacean plankton or plankton nets in all diameters and mesh sizes.
ISOLATED TRANSPORT TANKS for live fish
This professional
tanks for the long distance transport of live fish are made of strong doubble wall
reinforced glassfibre polyester in white colour, isolated with 2 cm thick foam panels and
metal fittings made of stainless steel. On the top, the tanks have an anti-slip surface,
which makes it possible to walk and service them safely. For the save transport they also
have a well closing splash-proof cover, air and oxygen connections as well as a handle.
The tanks have a 2" outlet and a water-proof hatch for water drainage or exchange,
situated on the front wall. A large outlet gate with inner closing door allows easy
emptying the tank of fish and water. As option theese tanks can be supplied with dividing
inner middle wall and a second outlet gate. As accessoire mounting corners, an outlet
chute or an outlet funnel with pipe adapter are available.

FISH
TRANSPORT TANKS to customer design
This individual tanks for the save transport of live fish are made of reinforced glassfibre polyester with a smooth surface in the colours white or green. To use the space of the transport vehicle more economically all tanks can be manufactured to customer design with your individual layout dimensions. All tanks are suplied with well closing, removable cover and lid as well as hand grips. As option theese tanks can be supplied with slanting inner bottom and splash protecting top and with drainage valve with sieve and outlet gate with door. As accessoire installed (12 Volt, DC) circulation pump systems or compressors with diffusers, pressure reducers with flowmeters, oxygen cylinders or liquid oxygen units are available.
LIVE
TRANSPORT CONTAINER for the forklift
In order to move and release live fish easy inside the farm we offer this Austrian development. The container is made of 5 mm strong aluminium (LxWxH 180x110x65 cm, weight approx. 170 kg) with cover and has special supports for a forklift. A water tight outles sluice and the draining bottom allow to empty the container easily and save until the last fish. An out- and overflow valve with water hight regulation allows an easy water replacement, even with fish inside the container.
LIFTING
NET with automatic lock
This lifting nets can be used perfectly to harvest larger fish
quantities gently from raising- or holding-units.
The fishes are harvested directly with the lifting net from cages, tanks or other systems
where the fish are allready keeped in high density by using a cran (see picture). For
opening the base of the net, simply the rope of the automatic lock is pulled, and the
fishes are released gently.
The lifting net has a diamter of 1 m and is available with different outfitts (just with 50 mm outer net, and with or without tapaulin inside, and with or without 10 mm inner net. It will be delivered completely with single or doubble frame made from aluminium or galvanized steel, ropes and automatic lock.
LIFTING DEVICE for live fish
This lifting devices which work with an
"Archimedes Screw" of 38 cm in diameter and are suitable for up to 6 t/h of any
fish species and sizes between 3 and 3000 g. They are mobile and used mostly for
indoor or outdoor transportation of live fish, from and between ponds, raceways or net
cages etc. to graders, transport tanks or slaugtering. The frame guarantees easy
regulation and indication of the screw angle and allows to place it in various positions.
The device outlet is designed in a way that it can be connected to a pipe system.
The lifting devices are complete equipped with: screw made of durable fiberglass
reinforced polyester, frame construction made of stainless steel, wheels made of
hot-galvanized steel, firmer and electric motor (380 V 0.7 kw) and available in lengths of
4, 5, 6 or 7 m for a lifting height of 2-4 m. Lifting devices with larger screw diamter,
on request.
VACUUM PUMPS with or without lifting system
Adjustable fish sucking vacuum pump for loading of transport tanks (on truck). With two (hot galvanised or for saltwater in stainless) steel vacum tanks (200 liter each) that suck and discharge alternatively, vacum-pump (with double air-cooling) and 1 HP air compressor for pneumatic movements, automatic electrical regulation and 10 HP motor (220/380 Volt, 50 Hz, or different on request). The (up to 6 m) sucked fish are seperated from the water through a (hot galvanized or for seawater in stainless) steel grill separator and thus send into a container connected with a weight indicator with electronic digital display, programmable either on loading quantity or working time.
On request the draining height is also adjustable between 1,35 and 3,05 meter trought an hydraulic power plant driving a piston that lifts and lowers the whole structure. By dimensions of 165 x 430 x 340 cm (maximum height 5,1 m) and a weight of 1.550 kg up to 15.000 kg of fish up to 1,5 kg (on request up to 3,0 kg) can be moved.
VACUUM PUMPS with or witout weighting system

For the lifting of fishes to grading machines and/or the loading of transport tanks etc. this fish vacuum pump is especially suitable. The functional principle is relative easy but effective, which helps to reduce unnecessary breaks and expensive repairs. The fishes (up to 5 kg in body weight and up to 16 t/h) are sucked up to 5 m in height, via an inlet funnel over a suction hose (6 m long) by two vacuum tanks (each 150 l) which work in exchange. By a 0.6 m2 large separator with 8 mm grid distance, the fishes are separated from water and glide so, in the optionally connectable scale or directly into the grading machine etc. The fishes leave the unit by a hose connection (200 mm Ø), which can be adjusted in height from 90-150 cm. The live fish pump has dimensions (L x W x H) of 360 x 115 x 230 cm) and a weight of approx. 650 kg. The motor (380 V/50 Hz, 4.0 kw) is integrated into the housing. The 3 transport wheels and telescopic legs guarantee that the unit stands well and safe.
As Option, there is a scale available, which can be operated (manually) alone over an inlet funnel or also (automatically) in combination with the vacuum pump. The fishes (up to 1 kg in body weight and up to 6 t/h) leave the scale over a hose connection (200 mm Ø). The weighting results (accuracy +/- 50 g) can be added and easily read from the display. The fish scale has dimensions (L x W x H of 165 x 103 x 165 cm) and a weight of approx. 190 kg. The motor (380 V/50 Hz, 0.1 kw) is integrated into the housing. The 4 transport wheels with fixable legs guarantee that the unit stands well and safe.
MANUAL GRADING DEVICE for fry and fingerling
Originally
developed at the Austrian Institute of Fisheries Economy in Scharfling, this simple but
effective sorting device is perfectly suitable for sorting of fry and fingerlings in small
to medium fish hatcheries and allready used for centuries. The distances of the grating
can be easily adjusted by shaping the device to a rhomb. The seawater resistant
impregnated wooden frame keeps floating and an exact distance between the auluminium
grates. The device is placed in one tank, than fishes are just put into the device, the
smaller fish go thru the grates while larger ones can't pass and are placed in another
tank. For grading into more than 2 size classes, the grates are enlarged by simply pushing
the whipable scale-bar, and so on.

AUTOMATIC GRADERS with moving fingers

This graders are made of aluminium and stainless steel and are available for various fresh- and sea- water fishes from Salmoniformes and Cypriniformes to Perciformes etc. The grading technology is based on 3 V-shaped channel with moving plastic fingers below, which moves the fish until the channel is too wide for the fish thickness and the fish are released to the collecting tanks below, from where they are flushed with water to the outlets, and additionally by pipes back to the holding ponds. During the whole grading process the fish are keept wet by water. The machines are mounted on a trolley with 3 wheels. Equipend with 380 V/50 Hz motor (230 V on request).

AUTOMATIC SORTERS with turning rollers
The automatic grading machines for life fishes works with a revolving rollers-system and a free adjustable grading process for 3 grads and outlets (120 mm Ø). Adjustable stainless steel rollers are drived by a 0,5 HP (220/380 Volt) geared motor reducer. A self priming 3,0 HP (220/380 Volt) pump which is available as accessoire, supplies the water (900 liter/minute), to the rotating rollers and flushes graded fish down to the three outlets and to be piped by gravity to the receiving tanks or ponds. It is able to make three contemporaneous selections from 4 to 40 mm thickness. Stainless steel movable discharge outlets that can be used whether on the left or on the right side of the grader. As standart, all parts as: electrical control panel, flexible suction intake with terminal filter and three flexible connecting pipes for the discharge outlets. All machines are mounted on a hot galvanized steel trolley with three wheels, adjustable supports and shaft.
Typ
ALFA has dimensions of 195 x 75 x 110 cm and a weight of approx. 200 kg, and is used for
fingerlings (sorting distances 4 to 14 mm). The grading capacity is up to 1 t/h.
Typ STANDARD has dimensions of 280 x 110 x 130 cm and a weight of approx. 400 kg, and the fish can be supplied by hand or by an external fish pump. The grading capacity is up to 3 t/h.
Typ GIGANT has dimensions of 360 x 140 x 140 cm and a weight of approx. 600 kg, and is like Typ Standard, but the grading capacity is up to 5 t/h.
Typ COMBI has dimensions of 400 x 175 x 200 cm and a weight of approx. 800 kg, and is equiped with a (5,5 HP 220/380 Volt) aluminium fish-pump wich draws the fish directly from the pond or raceway, seperates them from the water and feeds the grader. This pump embodies a revolutions variator (adjustable by means of a handle), wich enables the head and the loading capacity (up to 7 t/h) to be regulated.
ELECTRONIC COUNTERS for fry and fingerlings
This fry counters have
been developed with particular emphasis on well-being of the fish. The counters operate
according to the "free-swim" principle: the fry or fingerlings (0,2-70,0 g
depending on species) are in their natural element all the time and swim through the
counter unit by instinct. Thus the counting will in no way cause stress to the fish. The
counters have patented nozzles that seperate the fish by means of water so that each of
them passes the photoelectric cell - a simple and reliable way of counting the fry with
98-100 % accuracy. The counters are fitted with reliable electronic components with
memory. The electronic cylinder operates on chargable batteries but may also be connected
to 220 V/50 Hz. Sensor unit and electronic cylinder are both water-resistant. The counters
are easy to use and to handle. No division according to size is required and only one
person is required to operate or move the counter.
Each counter includes a stainless steel water pump (220-240 V/50 Hz, 940 Watt, 11 kg with
a capacity of 12 m3/h), and frame to mount the counter on the edge of a tank or placing it
in a tank or cage. As accessoire kits are available to count fry from 0,2-0,5 g and also
flatfish.

PIPELINE COUNTERS for much fish
This fish
scanners are based on a patented counting principle which gives both high capacity and
accuracy (98-100 %). The fish flows freely through a pipe and passes an advanced
camera/measuring system (CCD Camera chip) which will register the size and speed of the
passing fish. The resulting data is then transmitted to a control unit which may handle as
many as 4 channels (e.g. during grading) simultaneously. It is not necessary to have any
space between the fish passing simultaneously. The robust and reliable electronics of the
system will always provide the total number of fish passing through the unit. The
splashproof counters are easy to use and suitable for direct fish pump or grading machine
feeding. Optionally an easy-to-use PC software which will in addition to presenting the
accurate number, give you all the information you need from the counters. It gives you
real time monitoring with key features like: number, weight (average/total/distribution),
speed, efficiency, Reg. Unit status, lens check, systems log and printing the results.
The control unit (dimensions WxHxD 28x13x37 cm, weight 5 kg) is made
from powder-painted marine aluminium case which is sturdy, splashproof and user-friendly.
The power supply is 100-240 VAC 50/60 Hz (consumption 10-33 Watt), 12 or 24VDC (150 Watt
power inverter available as accessoire). The input channels can power and control up to 4
CSE or 2 CSF registration units at the same time. It has fluorescent buttons and backlit
display, and also connectors for auxillary equipment like PC, and PLC control etc. The
adjustable carrying handle can also lift the front of the control unit (to approx. 10º,
30º and 45º) for easy operation and a better view. As options an external siren (115dB)
and a PC monitoring system (requires a COM-cable) is available. The control unit can
easily be connected to a PC to monitor and log the counting.
The CSE-units are used for "dry"-counting (pipe 0-25 % full of water through the
unit) and suitable for many applications.
The CSF-units are used for wet-counting (pipe 100 % full of water through the unit) and
suitable for special applications.
All registration units are delivered with 10 meter cable, other lengths available on

MOTOR PUMPS for any purpose
This self priming, compact and engine driven pumps are specially suitable for the use in aquaculture, agriculture and industry and can also pump sludge or small stones. Driven by a strong and economic 1-cylinder 4-stroke petrol motor, this centrifugal pumps are environmentally friendly and reliable. A transistor controlled starter guarantees easy running also after longer pauses. Typ WH is for higher pressure and Typ WM is specially suitable for seatwater and chemicals as the pump casing is made from polyester. PROPELLER PUMPS for much water
This single stage pumps with
open axial propeller are suitable for less poluted water with suspended solids of up to 50
mg/l and a water temperature of up to 25 °C. The left running motor (380/400/500 V, 50
Hz, 1450 RPM, power factor 0,83-0,87 cos) has a failure runner and waterproof coiling. The
motor is capulated by a glide seal, the axial and radial wave bearing in water
lubrificated glide bearings. The propeller is made from bronze (CuSn10), the radial
bearings from bronze and stainless steel, and the bolts and screws from stainless steel
(V2A). All pumps are made according to DIN EN ISO 9906 class 2, protection art IP68) and
are suitable for endurence runn, timed operation or frequenz regulation and are supplied
with 10 m dircetly connected waterproof rubber cable. The installation can be in any
angels, horizontally and vertically, as well as submerged hanging or free standing. The
connection flange is C 200-300 DIN.

SUBMERSIBLE PUMPS for endurance run
This for the mobile and static operation
developed submersible pumps have a special sealing and lubrificated bearings for the
maintainance free endurance run in any position. Pumped can be all liquids with a weight
of max. 1.100 kg/m3, up to 40 degree C and a pH-value between 4-8. The motor (2850 RPM) is
available for 400 V/50 Hz as standard (other voltages on request). A thermal protection
and a doubble case chooling protect the motor from overload (Protection IP68). On
request the pumps are available with an extern ior build in floating switch, so that the
pumps work only when it is necessary. The pumps are delivered with wheel in plastic

This pumps with vortex propeller
made from plactic can be mounted and used submerged inside the water (wet) as well as free
standing outside the water (dry) and are suitable for particles up to 6 mm. Because of the
strong ceramic bearing they are suitable for endurance runn. All electric parts are
enbedded completely in plastic and a thermo-switch works as a overload protection. The
split-pipe motor (220-240 V, 50-60 Hz) is specially energy saving and very maintenance
friendly. The large prefilter caps (front and back) can be removed without any tool. The
outlet (pressure) connection has a inner and outer winding and is supplied with hose
adapters (20/25/32 mm). The pumps of this seria have compact dimensions (LxWxH) of

ELECTRIC FISHING DEVICES with direct- or impulse-current
This save and powerfull electric fishing devices are
sucessfully in use on all continents since over 20 years. Through the various and
sometimes problematic areas of use, a wide range of devices was developed which will match
nearly any requirement.
All devices are build to EN 60335 and EN 55014-standards, IEC and VDE-regulations, and can
be TÜV-tested if prefered. The electric building corresponds to security class II.
Therefore all power delivering parts are doubble isolated and guarantee the best possible
security for persons. A "Totmannswitch" (in the European Union required)
guarantees for additional security, so that all outlets of the device are without electric
current if dangerous situations arrise. The permanent excited generator and the high
quality magnet materials guarantee a continous and reliable power. Each device will be
tested mechanically and electrically completely and delivered with user manual.
Dirrect current creates usually a better anodic reaction as impuls current would doe. But
at extreme conductivities or for electric barrieres with dirrect current soon the borders
are reached. As result, powerfull combinated (Dirrect-/Impuls-Current) devices where
created, where the impulse frequenz and volts can be adjusted (via motor turns or switch).
The backcarry units are compact lightweight systems with high outgoing power. Impulse
devices are a little larger and have a little more weight than dirrect current devices.
We deliver net-, battery- oder petrol-driven backcarry- or stand-devices with dirrect-
and/or impulse current with an outgoing power of 250-11.000 Watt (5-160 kw/impuls at
25-100 Impulse/sec.), and a current of 300-960 Volt with a weight of 10-135 kg and for a

ELECTRIC STUNNING DEVICE for all fishes
This device is specially suitable for the fast and easy stunning
(electroanesthesia) of fishes (up to 50 kg/cycle) before killing and slaughtering. It
works with electricity over a transformer (Input 230 Volt, Output 42 Volt). All parts of
the device are made of corrosion free materials. The handle with buttons and lights is
made of plastic, the electrodes are made of brass with honeycomb-like plastic cover.
The device is available with or without plastic container and cover.
The fishes are placed in a plastic container together with water. For the stunning, both
electrodes are submerged into the water and the button is pressed, while the stunning
process is controlled by a lamp. To reach all fish correctly by electricity, the
electrodes of the device should be moved and turned horizintally. Fishes are anestesized
withing seconds and can be killed or slaughtered and gutted thereafter.
ELECTRIC STUNNING SYSTEM for much fishes
This device is
specially suitable for the save and reliable stunning (electroanesthesia) of fishes (up to
200 kg/cycle) befor killing and slaughtering. It works with electricity over a transformer
(Input 230 Volt, Output max. 160 Volt) with 3 adjustable regulation knobes for the pre-
and main stunning process which alows slowly increasing of the current and reduce internal
damage of the fishes. In normal cases the knobe is in the middle position, in special
cases i.e. if allways the same fish size or the same fish species are stunned, the knobes
allow to optimize the results. All parts of the system are made from corrosion free
materials. The container with cover is made from white plastic, the electrodes which are
fixed on two sides are made from stainless steel. The containers are available in 3
different sizes (80, 210 or 400 l volume).
The fishes are placed in the plastic container together with water and the cover is
closed. The controll box should be mounted dry on a wall. For the stunning, the button on
the side of the controll box is pressed, while the stunning process is controlled by a
lamp and teminated by an acustic signal.
SPECIAL FISH KNIVES for the industry
This special stainless steel knives and scissors are
designed for long live and resistance to hard wear. Thes can be used for many hours
without problem to archive high productivity. The blades are finished by hand with high
quality steel - a guarantee for maximum cutting precision and easy sharpening. Either stif
or flexible blades are available according to requirements. The ergonomic design of the
handles makes them easy and save to hold. The various designs were developed in
conjunction with users. They take into account both the type of cutting as well as the
size of the user's hands. The special green plastic material used gives the handle its
firm hold.

AUXILIARY FISH GUTTING DEVICE made of stainless steel
This gutting devices are in use since more than 20 years and a
valuable help for small and medium processing plants. They allow to gutt and clean fish
(like trout) from 150-1500 g in one rational working process, without give the fish out of
the hand. There is also no need for turning over the fish in your hand as all sequences of
operation start from the vent. If the operator should slip in the direction of the blade
while cutting, an injury can nearly be excluded. The rational working sequences enables
one person to process 300-400 fish per hour.
With the adjustable and save gutting blade the ventral wall of the fish is cut starting
from the abdomen. As hygiene is the most important factor when processing fish, injuries
of the guts are also excluded. The suction head has two scrape edges at its lower rim.
While passing through the fish, all remains (like kidney and blood) are removed. By
pressing a button, an automatic knive comes down and cuts the gorge, which is than sucked
and stored in a (30 l) container. Optionally, after gutting the remaining blood is removed
by the rotating (1500 RPM, 20 cm diameter) round washing brush.
Theese stainless steel gutting devices are delivered complete as table, wall or stand
units with or without compressor and vacuumcleaner and with or without round rinsing
brush.
AUTOMATIC GUTTING MACHINE with fish size adjustment
This compact and robust fish processing machine (for trout and bass) is made from stainless steel and plastic material. A main point at development was the removement of complicated and failing technique. The complete machine operates without hydro pneumatic or electronic elements and is driven by hydraulic pumps, which are integrated in the frame. The machine is (except a mothly oil control at a viewing glas, and the exchange of knives and brushes) nearly maintainance free. Complicated and expensive engagements are not necessary and the function via a push button allows a rentable working. Additional misstakes are impossible as wrong size selection can be avoided with the automatic niveau-regulation. The running speed of the transport chain is as low as possible, to allow to feed the machine with the fish just by one hand. A control line at the outlet side allows an optic control of the processed result, without the need to take the fish in the hand. Bad results (usually approx. 5 %) can be removed here. As the machine works without cross-cutt between gillcovers and pectoral fins, there is no additional waste of fish weight.

MANUAL SCALING DEVICE for all fishes
This fish scaling device is well protected from spray water, safe in
operation and securely insulated, tested to 4000 V. The 230 V/50 Hz ICE standard 0,1 kw
motor can be used continuously. The machine LxWxH of 23 x 24 x 19 cm with a weight of 9
kg, can be connected to a grounded or non-grounded wall socket. The cover of the
laminated, flexible axle (160 cm long) consists of two layers of steel, one layer of
insulating compound and one layer of plastic. The ball bearings in the top, with which the
fish is scaled, are waterproof and all outside parts are rustproof. The device is supplied
completely with handle, feets, 160 cm cable and plug.
As accessoire a 6 mm strong plexiglas cover (LxWxH: 84x50x29 cm) is available, under which
the fish can be scaled to avoid spraying of scales during scaling.
AUTOMATIC SCALING MACHINES for many fishes
The
robust, solidly constructed machines with belt drive offer perfect scaling technology,
with their design (body in stainless steel, automatic time selector and control valve for
reduced water consumption) and complete operational safety (auto-stop control, motor
protection, restart protection).
Scaling takes place at the bottom and sides of the machine and offers the advantages of
short (approx. 1-5 minutes per scaling cycle), low-noise scaling cycles and reduced water
consumption. The water used in the scaling process is accumulated, so that the fish are
thoroughly washed and a soft cushion of water is formed. This provides a flexible support
and ensures that the scaling action is very gentle (fishes are not exposed to heavy bumps
or impacts). The auto-stop control automatically stops the machine when the loading lid,
top lid or release flap is opened. Gentle release is ensured because the machine restarts
slowly and the start button must be pressed and held down, which is an added safety
feature. An automatic shut down with manual restart guards against automatic start-up
after a power failure. The scaling machines are supplied either with a karborundum drum
for soft fisch or small scales and with a round-hole drum for clams and hard fish or large
scales. The machine is also available with a dirty water drain on the left-hand side
(standard at the right side).

FILETING MACHINE for some fishes
This compact machine allow to fillet all fish with up to a height of 110 mm and a weight of 100-1000 g fast and exact, without gutting the fish. The machine is made of stainless steel and easily cleaned with water. A hight output (approx. 100-200 kg/h) and savety measurements allow a fast working. The compact design (LxWxH: 118x56x127 cm) and the low weight (approx. 88 kg) allow to use it on nearly any place.
With the rotating round-knife, first the head is cut off. Following, the fish is put in the machine head-cut first and belly-up. The fish is now forwarded by special grip belts to the round-knifes and 2 fillets are cut. The cut is adjustable, thus allowing a low waste of meat (Filet approx. 40-50 %). The belly bones have to cut of manually. The skinn can also be removed manually or by skinning machines. A continous cleaning is doen by water spray nozzles.
As accessoire an (20-40 degree) adjustable forwarding belt (30 cm/s, wide 35 cm, lenght 140 cm) is available.
FILLETING MACHINE for much fishes
The transformation of fish into fillets offer
an interesting value added profit margin and is directly depending with the filleting
costs. This new generation of filleting machines now comes in different sizes, with
dimensions suited to various fish sizes and species (Salmon, Trout, Charr, Whitefish,
Perch, Pikeperch, Bass, Bream, Mackerel, Bonito, Tuna, Pollack etc.) permitting an
efficient filleting of fish with minimum loss of product and high yield production of
50-80 % (Salmonids) of splitted fillets. The productivity depends on the operator skill
and process chain but is about 10-30 fish/min (approx. 1-3 t/h depending on fish size).
The yield is directly depending on the state of the freshness and consistency of the fish,
its fat content and maturity, as well as the cut of the head (I-, C- or V-cut). The simple
mechanic solutions based on rigorous geometric principles in combination with a sensitive
system to the thickness of each fillet, allow the machine to process fishes of various
sizes (from 0.1 to 6.0 kg) without setting changes. The type number means the maximum fish
height between anus and dorsum in mm, which the machine can handle. The smart design and
sturdy construction (made in stainless steel) insure a long life to meet high conditions
and norms of hygiene. All machines work with 2 or 4 blades (and 1 or 2 electric 400
Volt/50 Hz motors), are efficient and easy to clean and maintenance. Each machine has 2
wheels for easy movement. The standard height of the fish inlet is 80 cm and the fillet
outlet 77 cm abouve the ground (other dimensions are possible on request). The deheaded
and guttet fishes are loaded by hand into the machine. A 10-12 cm high transport belt
carefully transfers (approx. 20 m/s) the fish to the round blades knifes which run not
parallel but axial. The blades cut the fillets and separate the waste bones, thus saving
over 50-75 % of the production time. The filleting machines are available with 2 or 4
blades either for the production of fillets with belly bones (ribs) or for the production
of fillets without belly bones (ribs). The water requirement during filleting is about
300-500 l/h. A sharpening tool to use directly on the machine is available as accessory.

BONE CUTTERS for fish filets
With this compact manual devices made from stainless steel, you can
cut (Cutting wide 9, 15 or 30 cm) fast and easy the Y-bones in fillets from bony rich
fishes (like Cyprinids, etc.). With this cutting in small distances (every 3-4 mm), the
numberous Y-bones are chopped in very small pieces, so that they are no longer detected or
dangerous in the fillets and can be eaten comfortably with the meat.
With a special adapter (available as acessoire) you can also cut now the fillets in chips
or stripes (and, for example serve it fried or on salad).
There is also a stripe or cube cutter available (i.e. for hering or salmon) which saves
about 50 % of working time. The cutting distance can be choosen in steps of 4 mm, i.e. 8,
12, 16, 20 mm (please mention at order).
On request also an electric bone cutter is available.
PINBONE REMOVERS for fish filets
For removing of small and unwanted
pin-bones from larger fresh, de-frosted or smoked filets (from about 150 g filet weight
on, like: Salmons, Trouts and Charrs) different pinboners, from compact handheld devices
to automatic band machines, are available. All machines are building from non-corrosive
material to the quality and work with the same principles. The unique mechanical picking
action of theese pinboners gently removes neck and pinbones, leaving fillets looking their
best. Pinboning is not only removing the pin bones, but important is also not to break pin
bones, not to bleach the fillet by water, and keep the fillet without gaping. They
are very user and maintenance friendly and allow fast working. The pinboners are ideal for
use by fish processors, fish mongers, fish shops, fish restaurants etc., giving excellent
results with best possible yields and minimum weight loss.
SKINNING MACHINES for fish filets
This
fish skinning machines (scinning wide max. 430 mm, scimming speed 19-29 m/min) are
manufactured with the use of exclusive and high quality components and according to the
newest technical and hygienic regulations. The are made of rust free stainless steel, the
transport belts and rolls are made of plastic. Additional plates inside guarantee a very
long live of the robust machines, which have no electronic parts which could become
deffect. All machines are easy to use and very maintainance friendly, which saves
additional costs.
All models work with an 230/400 V (50/60 Hz) 0.75 kw (1.0 HP) motor and are equipped with
a foot-switch, adjustable knives (the skinning thickness can be adjusted from 0 to 4 mm),
turnable plate, stripper and water spray unit. Types CF are equipped with a cog-roller
(for fish with a tough or thick skinn) and types CS mit knife- and
cleaning-centrifuge (for fish with a soft or thinn skinn).
The Band-models are suitable for large quantities and guarantee highest security during
working, because they are switched off if the cover is opened. They have a gelagerte and
from outside adjustable pressure unit (opening height max. 90 mm), which adapts
automatically to the filets and is available with different performance depending on the
fish speices (soft wheels, hard roller for salmon or soft baloon). With the band-machines
the filets can be eighter skinned with stump blade or also with sharp blade. At skinning
with stump blade (silver skinning) nearly no waste is generated, at working with sharp
blade (deep skinning), the skinning deepth can be adjusted from 0 to 5 mm. Optionally, the
band-models can be equipped with special designed curved blads, which allow in one working
process to skinn and remove the red-brown muscle segments elong the sides of the sensory
canal from fresh or smoked filets completely which was one of the most difficult problem
during normal skinning by hand. Additionally they have a removeable charging belt, and a
forwarding belt is available as accessoire.

This slicers are
based on a proven combination of a strudy grund machine and a perfect slicing glide. Due
to the good quality and the modern technique of the slicers the best slicing results are
achived with yield of approx. 99 %. The plate and glide is from stainless steel, the other
parts are made from polished and eloxided aluminium. The blades are made of specially
chromed steel and last very long. All this features allow a very economic operation for
the processing fillets of various fish species. There are different slicing machines
available, from the simple manual to the controlled automatic slicer.

At this table models the vacuum chamber and housing is made from stainless steel and the high transparent lid of acryl glas. An easy and automatic working process is possible through the analog process time control pane (and from typ "B-35" on also through the digital sensor control with 10 programs). A gas injection system and soft-air ventilation is also possible from typ "B-35" onward. The machines have a single sealing bar configuration (single time sealing-cutting system on request) and are also available with a double sealing bar configuration from typ "B-42" onward. FLAKE ICE MACHINES with or without storage container
This scale ice makers are made of high quality stainless steel and plastics, have small dimensions and a high production capacity. They are easy to use and the innovative technique guarantees a stable quality of the flake ice and are highly economic. All maschines are FCKW-free (R 404 a), have adjustable feets and an automatic water remover. Other voltages, larger machines (also without refrigeration unit) or water cooled units on request.

This smokers with its approved technic are in operation worldwide. It is a product for
special gastronomy as smoking is possible at any time in presence of the customer - also
in delicatesse-shops, in the groceries store, at the butchers, at the party-service,
restaurants, beer-gardens etc.
In the electronic pressure chamber grill and fumigator you can easily prepare hot or cold smoked specialities ready to serve within very short times. You can work with the oven in closed rooms - smoking indoors - always a pleasure. Fish and meat are not cooked directly by firewood or infrared heat, but indirectly by the hot air inside of the pressure chamber. The tightly closing door guarantees that only a very small amount of smoke and thus nearly no moisture are let out. Proper gravy will be preserved, which is a great advantage in comparison to other smoking processes. Fish is put, with its belly up, onto the special grates. Flat-fish, fillet, meat are smoked on the flat grids. Flavour and proper gravy will remain. Cooking without addition of grease, therefore low on calories. Constant temperature and optimal diffusion of smoke (pressure) will lead to a good cooking and a golden-brown colour of the smoked food. After the timer has run off, smoke will deposit on the inside of the walls. The darker they are, the better the taste will be. simple operation and extremely compact design. With our special integrated
smoke-gas-guidance, your smoke goods will get evenly cooked and aromatized. The
smoke-gas-guidance takes place over an additional sheet metal in the back to the outlet

Wood firing:
For cold-smoking, the burning box is filled with smoke-flour and the draft regulation is
completely closed after lighting. The smoke-flour becomes carbonised and with a maximum
fill of the burning box the oven smokes up to 15 hours.
For hot-smoking a fire is kindled in the burning-box. The temperature will be set by the
draft regulation. As soon as the smoked goods are dry and cooked, the draft regulation is
to be completely closed and the fire is covered with smoke-flour to get a good smoke
development. You will get best smoked-results by using pure beech wood. More simple, more
comfortable and above all more economically you will smoke your goods with the gas heater.
Gas heater:
Drying and cooking: With full power of the gas heater - without smoke-flour pan.
Smoking: Cutting down of the heater to half power and simply putting the filled
smoke-flour pan ontop of it. When the smoke development is completed, the gas heater is
switched off and the smoke process is finished.
ISOLATED SMOKING DEVICES made of stainless

Good and consistent curing results appeal to your
customers and widens your customer base best.
This electrically (230/380 Volt) heated smoking devices have a capacity of 20-200 fishes
(resp. 15-150 kg meat) per smoking time of 30-90 minutes. Precisely thermostate controlled
heating produces heat and smoke for cooking slowly. A smoke pipe connection (120 mm), and
the well doubble isolated (50 mm) walls and door prevents heat loss and makes curing
possible also in closed rooms. The fish to be cured either be laid on the racks or hung on
curing hooks on the racks.
As accessoires a (build in) thermometer, timer swich and a smoke pipe regulator valve, as
well as special curring hooks, racks and curring meal (wood chips) are available. On
request, a build in connection pipe for/and an external smoke generator (for cold smoking)
is available too.
For a rational working, trolleys and build in ramps are available for the 103 cm wide
ovens.

LIQUID SMOKE SYSTEMS for stable product quality
This
systems are completely different to traditional ones in a way, that they need no smoke
generator and burner, because instead of a generator, a tank with liquid smoke will be
brough to a pressure of 3-5 bar.
At this patented technology, liquid smoke will be spreaded via an ventilation system over
nozzles and recircled during closed ventiles. During this process a steam- and gas phase
is build, which generates a non visible smoke. This "smoke" is physically
identical with conventional smoke, with all durability- and tast giving substances
(carbonyls, acids and phenols) but has no tarphase and other undesired matters
(Benzo-a-pyren).
The complete system is microprocessor controlled and allow easily the programming of
temperatures, moisture, times etc. as well as to save up to 99 programs (with 20
steps each). The actual and required parameters as well as alarms etc. are shown on a
digital display.
For the full automatic cleaning process (without agressive cleaners or personel) all
equipment is placed in the cabinet and the program is started - thats all! Beside smoking,
with this cabinets you can also curing, steaming, cooking, backing, roasting etc. all with
an allways stable product quality.

FRESHWATER FISHES with quality
Arctic Charr (Salvelinus alpinus) and Lake Trout (Salmo
trutta lacustris):
The breeders origins from populations of alpine lakes. Suitable for stocking in
alpine lakes, reservoirs and dams, as well as for the production of seafood. The fish are
raised in netcages with live
zooplankton and therefore are extremely vital and of high stocking value. A high growth
rate as well as an excellent meat combined with a nice colour and large sizes are main
characteristics. Tests with tagged fish have shown that fingerlings of 3-5 cm is the most
economic size for stocking, as the adaptation of much larger fingerlings to the lakes is
more difficult.
Grayling (Thymallus thymallus) and Danube Salmon (Hucho
hucho):
The breeders are caught in springtime in various rivers, reproduction and raising takes
place at the nursery farm on lake "Wallersee" with live zooplankton and later on
also with dry food.
Pike (Esox lucius), Pike Perch (Sander lucioperca)
and Burbot (Lota lota):
The mother breeders are catched in lakes. Reproduction and raising of fingerlings
with live plankton takes place at the nursery farm on lake "Wallersee". Stocking
of fingerlings with 3-4 cm is most economic and is more as anought in most waters.
Sturgeons (Acipenseridae):
After years of studies and experiments among most known sturgeon species and hybrids, now
from our own broodstock are available -
Siberian Sturgeon (Acipenser baerii): An easy to keep sturgeon which is used
mainly for aquaculture and caviar production (available from fertilized eggs to pregraded
females).
Russian Sturgeon (Acipenser gueldenstaedtii): A beautifull sturgeon (light scutes
on dark ground) which is well accepted as ornamental fish for garden ponds.
Sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus): A slow growing sturgeon which is mainly used for
restocking (in the Danube River) but also for the aquarium trade (available also as
albino).
Beluga (Huso huso): The "Caviar fish" with the best growth rate, within
2 years a weight of up to 10 kg can be obtained with a water temperature of 20° C.
We produce over 20 fish species during the year like: Chondrostoma nasus, Barbus barbus, Silurus glanis and others.
SPAWNING HORMONES for finfish
In nature, reproductive development and spawning in finfish is controlled by environmental factors such as temperature, photoperiod, nutrition, water quality, and presence of spawning substrate. In aquaculture, it is not always possible or economically feasible to replicate nautral conditions especially as many species are now grown some distance from their original geographic location. Thus, endocrine or a combrination of endocrine and environmental manupulations are utilized to facilitate reproduction. In the last decade significant research has been conducted worldwide on ripening fish sexuality using various preparations.
Carp Pituitary Extract (CPE) are acetone dried pituitaries of carps, which are pulverized and can be used to speed up maturation (induced maturation) as well as the spawning process itself (induced spawning). Intramuscular injections are highly effective in increasing the incidence of spawning as well as possibly increasing egg take in certain species. The potential economic benefits of taking eggs earlier (or later) in a given season or in fact eliminating seasonality altogether in certain climates and regions are significant. Carp pituitary extract contains a variety of pituitary hormones, including gonadotropins, which are effective for the induction of final maturation and ovulation. CPE is administered in distilled water or physiological saline and injected intramusculary at a dose of 1-10 Milligram/kg fish. Available in vials of 1 Gramm (= 1000 Milligram).
Luteinizing-Releasing Hormone analogue (LH-RHa) is another item which current research has brought forth yet as a new approach to induce spawning and maturation. Typically, the hypothalmus portion of a fish's brain is stiulated by complex environmental factors to secrete LH-RH which in turn triggers the pituitary gland to release gonadotropic hormones. The gonadotropic hormones travel by way of the general circulation to the gonads (ovary or testes). The gonadal tissue receiving the stimulus of gonadotropin begins the maturation process whereby the fish is ready to begin reproduction or spawning. A specific analogue of LH-RH is many times stronger than the naturally occurring one. Research has shown this to be the most potent maturation and spawning aid. Additionally, the LH-RH "a" analogue is not specific to any particular species and should be applicable universally to all species. LH-RH(a) then deals with maturation and spawning at a higher "command level" than do pituitary extracts which are essentially gonadotropic agents. LH-RH(a) is administered in distilled water or physiological saline and injected intramusculary at a dose of 1-100 Microgram/kg fish. Available in vials of 1 Milligram (= 1000 Microgramm).
TRANQUILIZERS for aquatic animals
Eugénol (Clove-oil) is a very usefull, natural and environmental friendly tranquilizer, which can be used for various fish species. A higher tolerance against longer exposure times gives a greater security and makes the application under practice condition much more easier. Because of the low dosage (30-50 ppm) there occures also no alteration of the taste of the fishes. Available as pure oil in vials of 10 or 100 Milliliter.
Tricaine Methanesulfonate (MS-222) is a highly versatile anesthetic intended for the temporary immobilizatin of fish, amphibians and other aquatic cold blooded animals and the most widely used and trusted anesthetic use in aquaculture, fishery and veterinary settings. It has long been recognized as a valuable handling tool during surgical operation, stripping, weighing, measuring, tagging, transportation, photography etc. Tricaines are not affected by salinity. Fish anethetised show rapid reversibility when placed in fresh water. Further, the level of sedation is proportional to the strength of anesthetizing baths. It is available as a white, water soluble powder available in bottles of 100 or 1000 grams administered by bath, used for anesthesia and sedation at a dose of 20-200 ppm, with an induction time of 2-20 minutes.

experience and research data of the authors. The work is structured into four sections,
comprising:

sturgeon hybrids.
- A detailed description of all known species worldwide including their detailed
description, their specific distribution, their autecology, and their current status as
well as a revisted key to the species.
- An aquaculture section including the different methods of broodstock management,
handling, artifical propagation, incubation techniques, feeding and ongrowing strategies,
management of pond and intensive production.
- As well as an overview on fisheries techniques, stock management, processing of
